OASIS is currently in the process of locating, interviewing, and accepting new female residential staff. We are looking for young women (preferably college graduates) who feel a unique call to working in residential/community living settings and with at-risk women 18 years and older. Applicants must evidence a mature and sincere faith in Christ, must be willing to make a minimum 12 month commitment to OASIS, must be willing to raise their own missionary salary support, must be actively engaged in the life of a Christian church or fellowship, and must be able to articulate their faith. Training or professional experience working with at-risk young women preferred, but not necessary. Applicants, once accepted, will be under a voluntary contractual agreement with the OASIS Ministry for their ministry services. This ministry covenant can be broken by both parties at any time and for any reason.

OASIS assumes full responsibility for training and equipping its staff for their ministry within the OASIS community. Staff will undergo a 30 day orientation/training period with other residential staff once aceepted. Staff members (called House Life Coordinators) are called to a high standard of moral and personal excellence both in their professional and private lives. If interested, please download an application from our OASIS Documents section and e-mail it back as an attachment or mail it to:

OASIS Ministry
Attn: Rev. Eli Dorman
205 N. Mulberry St.
Mount Vernon, OH 43050
USA.

Also include a resume of your personal work and related volunteer experiences. Once we receive your materials they will be reviewed by our personnel committee and we will contact you. If we are interested in an interview we will ask for dates/times that we can attempt to meet with you. May God bless you as you discern his direction and call.
